Summary: The study aimed to investigate the relationship between red blood cell distribution width (RDW), interleukin-6 (IL-6), high sensitivity-c-reactive protein (hs-CRP), in-hospital mortality, and disease severity among patients with heart failure. The results showed that all biomarkers were associated with mortality after adjusting for age and gender, while only IL-6 remained significant after adding comorbidities. IL-6 had the highest sensitivity, specificity, and area under the curve for mortality prediction.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the characteristics of interventions using the Touchpoints model to promote child development. Through a comprehensive analysis of various literature and databases, it was found that these interventions were mainly focused on the period from pregnancy to three years old, with an emphasis on disseminating Touchpoints content based on age and aspects of parenting. The findings suggest that these interventions have positive effects on child development and parenting, however, due to the diversity of interventions, identifying effective characteristics remains challenging.

Summary: The study found that the soil preparation method did not affect the total solids content, Stiasny index, and condensed tannins content, but there was a significant difference in these parameters for tree bark collected at the end of the rainy season, with higher values. Therefore, it is recommended to use a less intensive soil preparation method and collect bark at the end of the rainy season for optimal condensed tannins yield.

Summary: The research aims to evaluate the factors influencing the perception of flood risk and promote effective actions for climate change adaptation and mitigation. The study finds that older age, experience of flooding, higher awareness, lower monthly income, lower schooling, and less confidence in the government contribute to higher perception of risk. However, there are significant deficiencies in understanding the relationship between risk perception and mitigation behavior, and a lack of theoretical frameworks in research.
