Serious adverse events include febrile neutropenia, pain, and anemia.

Summary: PEComa is a rare group of mesenchymal tumors composed of perivascular epithelioid cells (PEC) with melanotic and smooth muscle differentiation. This article presents the current treatment options for this tumor group. PEComas are classified as tumors of uncertain malignant potential due to potential recurrences after radical treatment. Surgical resection with negative margins is the primary treatment, often requiring the cooperation of multispecialty surgeons due to the different tumor locations.

Transgelin Contributes to a Poor Response of Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma to Sunitinib Treatment

Additionally, the study highlighted transgelin as a key protein supporting RCC cell proliferation and potentially contributing to intrinsic sunitinib resistance.

Clinical characteristics and survival analysis of patients with limb epithelioid sarcoma

Summary: Undifferentiated embryonal sarcoma of the liver (UESL) is a rare form of liver malignancy, with most cases reported in the pediatric population. This case study highlights an extremely uncommon case of UESL with epithelioid features and a very poor prognosis, suggesting that complete intraoperative resection and postoperative adjuvant therapy should be considered to improve the prognosis of adult patients with UESL with epithelioid features.

Metastatic Epithelioid Sarcoma of the Eyelid in a 47-Year-Old Man: A Case Report

Summary: Recent research has shown the presence of YAP1 fusion genes in eccrine poroma and porocarcinoma. The use of YAP1 immunohistochemistry for diagnosis has been emphasized. The study aimed to evaluate the performance of YAP1 immunohistochemistry in the diagnosis of these tumors. The results showed that YAP1 expression was lost in a significant number of cases, and inactivation of RB1 was associated with transcriptional repression of YAP1.

Summary: Dupilumab, a therapeutic antibody targeting IL-4 and IL-13 receptor subunit alpha, has been used for treating atopic dermatitis (AD). Recent reports have shown cases of psoriasis-like reactions induced by dupilumab treatment for AD. The pathogenesis of dupilumab-induced psoriatic eruption (DI-Pso) involves a shift in skin immune responses from T helper 2 to IL-36 and T helper 17 polarization, as well as intensified skin barrier alterations.

Summary: This study investigated the lack of consensus on the definition and classification of 'plaque' in mycosis fungoides. The results showed that total consensus and high agreement rates were achieved in a significant percentage of questions, but high divergence rates were also reported. Therefore, there is still a need for further research to achieve a consensus and improve the clinical definition of plaques.

Summary: Trichoblastic carcinoma is a rare malignant cutaneous adnexal tumor. There is currently no consensus on the treatment of this cancer. A study evaluated the efficacy of Nivolumab in patients with Trichoblastic carcinoma, and found that it showed promising results with a good control of the disease. Further studies are needed to confirm these findings and determine the role of Nivolumab in the treatment of Trichoblastic carcinoma.

Microsecretory adenocarcinoma of the skin, a novel type of sweat gland carcinoma: Report of three additional cases

Summary: This article reports three cases of Microsecretory adenocarcinoma (MSA) of the skin (MSAS), which is a recently identified entity of primary cutaneous adnexal tumor. The tumors presented as dermal nodular proliferation with slightly infiltrative borders, composed of cribriform and microcystic structures with abundant myxoid intraluminal secretion. All tumors harbored the MEF2C::SS18 gene fusion. After complete surgical excision, there were no local recurrence or distant metastases observed so far (follow-up: 17, 38, and 45 months).
