Summary: This study aimed to investigate corneal densitometry based on age and corneal region using the densitometry distribution analysis method. Images from 83 healthy participants were analyzed, and two parameters, alpha and beta, were estimated. The results showed that both alpha and beta were influenced by age and corneal region, with the corneal region playing a more significant role.

Summary: The study aimed to investigate the relationship between corneal biomechanical and ocular biometric parameters, and to explore the biomechanical asymmetry between anisometropic eyes. The findings showed that more myopic eyes had weaker biomechanical properties, but a linear relationship between anisometropia and biomechanical asymmetry was not found.

Summary: The study found that corneal densitometry returned close to normal 6 months after trabeculectomy, with no significant difference compared to a healthy control group. The significant reduction in diurnal IOP and the decrease in pressure-lowering substances may be the main reasons for this finding.

Summary: A method was established to determine central corneal thickness and anterior chamber depth of a deformed cornea at the highest concavity state. The study found an increase in CCT at the highest concavity state and suggested that the change in CCT during deformation may be important in studying the compressive response of the cornea. The distortion in Corvis ST images at the highest concavity state can be corrected using a modified Fink method.

Summary: The aim of this study was to compare measurements of anterior segment biometry parameters using two Scheimpflug tomographies, Pentacam and Sirius, and assess the agreement between them. The results showed that both devices had good agreement and correlation in most parameters, although there were statistically significant differences in some parameters.

Summary: This study investigated the outcomes of corneal and anterior chamber angle parameters after laser iridotomy (LI) combined with peripheral iridoplasty (PI) using dual Scheimpflug analyzer. The results showed that LI plus PI efficiently improved anterior chamber angle parameters and significantly reduced intraocular pressure (IOP) until 1 year of long-term follow-up. However, parameters of the cornea and spherical equivalent were not influenced by LI with PI until after 1 year.

Summary: This study compared two different technologies for measuring corneal astigmatism and found that the differences between anterior and total corneal astigmatism measured with SS-OCT were clinically not significant for astigmatism values below 1.5 D. However, the mean keratometry values obtained with Scheimpflug and SS-OCT biometers are not interchangeable.

Summary: This study aimed to determine the repeatability limits of corneal tomography parameters in patients with advanced and moderately thin keratoconic corneas. The study found that the repeatability of corneal tomography measurements was significantly reduced in patients with corneal thickness <= 400 microns compared to those with thickness between 450-500 microns. Therefore, repeatability limits should be carefully considered when planning surgical interventions for such patients.

Results showed that SS-OCT biometers demonstrated good agreement for anterior chamber depth (ACD), central corneal thickness (CCT), white-to-white (WTW) and lens thickness (LT), while SD-OCT showed discrepancies in ACD, CCT, and WTW values compared to SS-OCT biometers, but excellent agreement in LT measurements.
