Summary: In this study, a previously unreported secoiridoid glycoside, cruciatoside, was isolated from Gentiana cruciata L., along with ten known compounds. Compounds 9, 4, and 7 showed moderate anti-inflammatory activity, while compounds 1, 2, 4, and 7 exhibited strong reduction in IL-6 levels. In addition, compound 4 showed in vitro analgesic activity.

Summary: This study evaluates the therapeutic activity and adverse drug reactions of a newly synthesized pyrazole derivative, compound AD732, and compares it to standard agents. The results show that AD732 has higher anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects compared to standard agents, without ulcerogenic effects and minimal detrimental effects on renal function. AD732 may be a safer and more effective molecule with promising potential for pain and inflammation management.

The ethyl acetate layer extract contained the highest levels of active substances, exhibiting strong hemostatic and analgesic activities, while the chloroform layer extract showed the strongest anti-inflammatory effect. High levels of polyphenols and flavonoids in the ethyl acetate layer extract contribute to its nutritional activities.

The results showed that AACLE is non-toxic and contains bioactive compounds with various pharmacological activities. The extract also exhibited antimicrobial and hepatoprotective properties. Therefore, the traditional medicinal use of Ananas comosus leaves is justified.

Summary: In this study, the combination of Triselenium dicyanide with 4-amino-N-(thiazol-2-yl) benzenesulfonamide resulted in the synthesis of 4-amino-N-(5-selenocyanatothiazol-2-yl) benzenesulfonamide. The interaction between compounds 3-5 and dsFS-DNA was investigated, and groove binding with a binding constant of 104 M-1 was observed. Molecular modeling revealed that the compound binds to the groove of B-DNA with a relative binding energy of -5.06 to -5.94 kcal mol-1. Additionally, compound 4 exhibited strong cytotoxicity against Panc1 cells, inducing apoptosis and demonstrating significant antioxidant activity.

Summary: A series of thiazole-fused thiazole derivatives 14a-f were synthesized by coupling sulfonamide diazonium chlorides 13a-f with 2-(4-phenylthiazol-2(3H)-ylidene)malononitrile (8) in pyridine. The structures of compounds 14a-f were deduced based on their spectroscopic data. The synthesized compounds showed moderate-to-mild cytotoxic activity, with the compound 14e exhibiting the highest activity.
