The unclamped electro-optic coefficient r(22) of the 5% MgO-doped congruent LiNO3 crystal was measured over continuous wavelengths 425-1000nm by using Mueller matrix spectropolarimetry. The alignment of crystal orientation, which is important for accurate coefficient measurement, was effectively carried on with this technique. (C) 2015 The Japan Society of Applied Physics
