Summary: A novel Gram-positive bacterium, designated strain LNNU 331112(T), was isolated from the rhizosphere soil of the halophyte Suaeda aralocaspica in Xinjiang, northwest China. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that it belonged to the genus Hoyosella. Genomic and chemotaxonomic analyses supported the proposal of a new species, named Hoyosella suaedae sp. nov., with strain LNNU 331112(T) designated as the type strain.

Summary: This study isolated two novel species of Actinophytocola and Streptomyces from cotton field soils, and identified them using a polyphasic approach. The strains showed high similarities to Actinophytocola xinjiangensis and Streptomyces iconiensis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences. Phylogenetic and genomic analyses supported the taxonomic delimitation of these two species.

Summary: Bacterial strains belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae were isolated from rhizosphere soil and could not be assigned to an existing genus. Through phenotypic testing and genetic analysis, 16 strains were found to form two distinct clusters, leading to the proposal of two new species: Dryocola boscaweniae and Dryocola clanedunesis.

Summary: A potential plant growth promoting bacterium, OPS13-3(T), was isolated from rhizosphere soil of citrus in Guangdong Province, China. The bacterium showed high ability to dissolve insoluble inorganic phosphate and organic phosphorus and produced 3-indoleacetic acid (IAA) and siderophore. Based on phylogenetic, phenotypic and chemotaxonomic analyses and genome comparison, it is proposed as a novel species of the genus Pseudomonas, named Pseudomonas citri sp. nov. (type strain OPS13-3(T) = GDMCC 1.3118(T) = JCM 35385(T)).
