Summary: This scoping review aimed to identify patient goal elicitation and evaluation methods for older adults, and to investigate which methods can be used in medication optimization interventions for nursing home residents. The review found a variety of goal elicitation and evaluation methods, but none for medication optimization interventions in nursing home residents. Therefore, it is important to take a holistic approach and involve assessors in order to integrate patient goals into medication optimization interventions.

Summary: Numerous restoration programs have been launched worldwide in recent years, but their effectiveness for biodiversity conservation remains unclear. It is important to identify priority areas for restoration in regions with limited resources. Habitat availability, which combines habitat amounts with interpatch connectivity, plays a critical role in long-term biological population sheltering. The proposed multi-scale approach in this study focuses on enhancing habitat availability and setting restoration priorities for forest restoration.

Summary: The priorities for emergency medicine research in the UK were redefined through a collaborative effort between the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and the James Lind Alliance. A steering group was established to review and refresh the research priorities, using an open call for new questions and a systematic review of existing priorities. The top 10 research priorities were agreed upon through a prioritisation survey and a final workshop.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the perspectives of primary care physicians in the US Veterans Health Administration on delivering patient-centered care for high-risk or complex patients with multimorbidity. The findings revealed that personalized physician-patient communication, interdisciplinary teamwork, and integrated care were important facilitators, while intra- and interpersonal conflicts, limited encounter time, and policy impediments served as barriers to patient-centered care.

Summary: This study suggests that youths receiving MAT for OUD have diverse patient-reported goals (PRGs) and reporting a goal does not necessarily increase the chances of achieving it. There is a need for treatment plans that effectively incorporate PRGs, particularly addressing the common goal of reducing or stopping MAT dosage.

Summary: This article reviews the literature on action research within the information systems discipline, identifies 16 different methods, and proposes integrating their strengths to improve the canonical action research method. The principles and criteria for canonical action research are modified and expanded to enhance the consistency of undertaking action research, leading to a new method called integrated action research. The potential applications of integrated action research, particularly in investigating disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence, are discussed.

Summary: This article calls on the International Journal of Production Research (IJPR) and its scholarly community to contribute to the global sustainable development goals (SDGs) through research, knowledge development, and dissemination. It highlights both the excellent results in ecologically sustainable production-related SDGs from the past 60 years of IJPR research and the existing research gaps in general environmental, gender, and inclusiveness research that can provide further insights. The article concludes with recommendations to expand experiences and knowledge.

Summary: Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) is an integral part of understanding ecosystems, providing a holistic assessment and a longer time perspective than western scientific disciplines. Despite its importance, TEK has not been widely incorporated into US national-level policies or planning. This review of TEK literature highlights its applications in ecological understanding, conservation, restoration, and land management, and identifies knowledge gaps to support its integration into US public land management, particularly to involve historically underrepresented groups such as American Indian Tribes in the stewardship of their ancestral lands.

Summary: The widespread uptake of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine is crucial for resolving the COVID-19 pandemic, and politicians have the potential to influence public sentiment and uptake through vaccine-related communication. A study found an increase in vaccine-related tweets by legislators on Twitter following the arrival of SARS-CoV-2 in the United States. Prior to COVID-19, the majority of vaccine-related tweets were generated by Democrat and state senators, but the increase in tweets after the arrival of COVID-19 was greater among Republican and federal legislators.
