Summary: This study conducted an online cross-sectional study to investigate the career choices of Vietnamese healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results showed that although there were changes in work intensity and work-related stress, over 60% of respondents did not intend to switch careers. Demographic variables such as gender, student status, and income were related to work motivation. Community stigma was a negative factor that affected intrinsic motivation and decreased job satisfaction.

Summary: The study found that 60% of students enjoyed learning anatomy through dissection videos, but most students thought the videos should be shorter. The majority of students liked having an instructor guide them through the videos and wanted to discuss the content with the instructor afterwards. While most students preferred having access to the videos at any time, only a minority were willing to completely replace cadaveric prosections with dissection videos.

Summary: This study investigates the effectiveness of drawing and clay modeling in learning spinal anatomy among medical students. The results show that the drawing group significantly improves their scores by 11% compared to the control group. However, the clay modeling group and the control group do not show significant improvement. Therefore, drawing is an effective strategy for learning basic and applied spinal anatomy, and drawing and clay modeling (with adequate time) may be helpful for teaching medical students to apply surgical anatomical knowledge in various contexts.

Summary: This study explored career orientations among medical students in the Netherlands and their implications for future career choices, identifying three distinct orientations: valuing lifelong self-development, valuing work-life balance, and being more concerned with achievement and recognition of work. These differences in orientations can help design interventions to guide medical students towards more satisfying and society-relevant career choices.

Summary: The study demonstrates that Episealer(R) implants are safe with a low failure rate of 2.5% at 2 years postoperatively, resulting in clinically significant improvements in patients with isolated focal chondral defects in the knee. Individualised mini-metal implants with accurate guides may have a place in the management of focal femoral chondral and osteochondral defects in the knee.
