Summary: Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory granulomatous disease that affects 2 to 160 people per 100,000 worldwide and can involve any organ. Approximately 10% to 30% of patients with pulmonary sarcoidosis develop progressive disease, and over 60% of deaths are due to advanced pulmonary sarcoidosis.

Summary: Cardiac sarcoidosis (CS) is characterized by granulomas infiltrating the myocardium, leading to conduction disturbances, ventricular tachyarrhythmias, and heart failure. However, imaging studies have shown that cardiac involvement occurs much more frequently than clinically detectable cases. Definitive diagnosis of CS requires myocardial biopsy and histopathology, but a combination of extracardiac histology, clinical manifestations, and cardiac imaging findings can provide a high likelihood of diagnosis.

Summary: Approximately 5% of sarcoidosis patients develop cardiac manifestations, presenting with conduction abnormalities, ventricular arrhythmias, and heart failure. Diagnosis is challenging and requires clinical suspicion and expertise in advanced cardiac imaging. Malignant arrhythmias and heart failure are common adverse events, highlighting the importance of timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Summary: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are endogenous noncoding RNAs widely distributed in various biological cells, with stable structure and high conservation. They participate in the regulation of gene expression and play an important role in the occurrence and progression of tumors. They can be divided into four types based on their origins and have diverse biological functions.

Summary: Pulmonary sarcoidosis is the most common manifestation of sarcoidosis and poses challenges for diagnosis. Clinical presentation, evidence of granuloma formation, and exclusion of other diseases are the three criteria to consider. Multiple diagnostic tools are available, but the invasiveness and risk to the patient should be evaluated. In specific situations, a working diagnosis of sarcoidosis can be made without further invasive procedures, but close follow-up is necessary.

Summary: A computer-aided diagnosis system (CADx) utilizing artificial neural networks achieved significantly higher diagnostic accuracy for optical diagnosis of colorectal polyps compared with expert and novice endoscopists. The system had a diagnostic accuracy of 88.3% using HDWL images and 86.7% using BLI images, which was improved to 95.0% when combining both modalities. However, the use of the BLI Adenoma Serrated International Classification (BASIC) did not increase the diagnostic accuracy of endoscopists compared to intuitive optical diagnosis.

Summary: Sinonasal organizing hematoma (OH) is a rare nonneoplastic lesion characterized by epistaxis, reddish mass, and destruction of sinonasal structures. This retrospective study evaluated 112 OH patients and found that preoperative magnetic resonance (MR) has the highest accuracy in detecting OH. Most patients were treated with endoscopic-assisted surgical removal without preoperative embolization.

Summary: Diagnosing pulmonary sarcoidosis is challenging due to the absence of specific diagnostic criteria and its ability to mimic many other conditions. This review aims to help non-experts establish tailored differential diagnosis strategies. Granulomatous diseases like infections, chronic beryllium disease, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, and drug-induced granulomatosis must be ruled out. Epidemiological factors, clinical history, physical examination, and chest computed tomography guide further investigations. Differentiating sarcoidosis from lymphoproliferative disorders can be difficult. Continuous gathering of information may be necessary for a definite diagnosis. Chronic beryllium disease and drug-induced granulomatosis closely resemble sarcoidosis.

Summary: Sarcoidosis is a systemic granulomatous disease with unknown origin. It commonly affects thoracic lymph nodes and/or lung parenchyma, but can involve any other organ. Musculoskeletal sarcoidosis, previously considered rare, is now being recognized more frequently due to advanced imaging techniques. The typical X-ray finding in bone sarcoidosis is lace-like patterns in the phalanges. However, other locations may have atypical radiological images, resembling metastatic neoplastic diseases. In such cases, histopathological verification and monitoring of lesions or clinical data are essential for correct diagnosis.

Summary: This systematic review summarizes the histopathologic and clinical characteristics, surgical management, and follow-up of sinonasal leiomyomas. A total of 84 patients from 40 studies were included, with the tumor most commonly located in the nasal cavity. Endoscopic surgery was the most frequently chosen approach, and recurrence rate was low.
