Summary: International migration poses risks to people's sexual and reproductive health (SRH), especially for women and children. However, many international migrants are denied access to SRH care due to government and/or service provider barriers. This article reviews international human rights treaties and argues that these barriers violate international law. Migrants have a right to SRH care as part of their right to health, and hindering their access is seen as a threat to their rights to life and equality.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the attitudes towards sexuality among nursing students and identify the sociodemographic and cultural factors that may influence these attitudes. The findings showed a significant association between religious beliefs and attitudes towards sexuality, with stronger religious beliefs associated with more conservative attitudes. Additionally, occasional alcohol consumption was found to be associated with more liberal attitudes towards sexuality. Moreover, the place of residence was found to be related to attitudes towards rape.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the long-term sexual functioning of women at increased familial risk of breast or ovarian cancer who underwent risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy. The study found that women who underwent premenopausal oophorectomy experienced more sexual discomfort and vaginal dryness compared to women who underwent postmenopausal oophorectomy, but it did not lead to a decrease in sexual pleasure.

Summary: This article explores the elements and characteristics of reproductive health for Brazilian and French women. The Brazilian health system criminalizes abortion and highly medicalizes pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. In contrast, the French health system prioritizes vaginal deliveries but faces issues with profit logic and rationalization of practices. Women's rights, discussions on violence against women, and markers of oppression based on race, gender, sexuality, and social class are also important factors in both countries.

Summary: This study investigates migrants' knowledge of the right to safe and legal abortion and other associated factors in Sweden. The findings reveal a substantial lack of knowledge among migrants, which is associated with factors such as religion, lack of previous sexual health education, restrictive abortion laws in their home countries, low education level, and temporary residence permits. Comprehensive sexual health education programs should be provided to recently arrived migrants to increase their knowledge of legal and safe abortions and other laws related to sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Summary: This meta-analysis reveals the association between daily step count and stepping rate with all-cause mortality. The results show that increasing daily step count is associated with a progressively lower risk of all-cause mortality, and the association between step count and mortality varies across different age groups.

Summary: Many animal species exhibit haplodiploidy, where fertilized eggs develop into diploid females and unfertilized eggs develop into haploid males. Sex-specific reproductive genes, shared within the same genome but experiencing selection in different ploidal environments, are of particular interest in studying evolutionary genomic patterns in haplodiploid species. Theoretical expectations suggest that reproductive genes evolve more rapidly than constitutively expressed genes in haplodiploid genomes.

Summary: It is widely acknowledged in the global health community that prioritizing the most marginalized populations is crucial and that human rights norms play a key role in sexual and reproductive health programs. Documented barriers to implementation include structural, policy, financial constraints, as well as a lack of understanding on how to incorporate human rights principles. Facilitators such as human rights champions, leadership, civil society participation, training, and specific funding contribute to successful implementation.

Summary: In Western nations, migrant and refugee youth (MRY) have lower participation rates in sexual reproductive health (SRH) services. As a result, MRY are more likely to face adverse SRH experiences due to limited access to and knowledge of SRH services. A scoping review was conducted to examine MRY's understanding of and the implications for inclusive sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) programs and policies.

Summary: This systematic review aimed to assess the effectiveness of remote training on SRHR research and describe enablers and barriers of effective remote training. The results showed that remote training can lead to improvements in research knowledge, skills, and attitudes, particularly when clear course learning objectives, structure, and expectations are outlined, and ongoing mentorship is provided.
