Summary: This study aimed to explore the predictive value of infliximab trough level (ITL) in combination with inflammatory biomarkers on long-term endoscopic outcomes in Crohn's disease (CD) patients during infliximab (IFX) maintenance therapy. The results showed that low ITL and high inflammatory biomarker levels increased the risk of endoscopic activity at different stages of treatment. The combination of ITL and inflammatory biomarkers can moderately predict endoscopic activity. Furthermore, ITL was also associated with endoscopic relapse-free survival.

Summary: This study identified circulating biomarker candidates associated with the risk of mid/long-term relapse in Crohn's disease (CD) patients stopping infliximab for the first time. The findings also highlighted a sequence of pathophysiological processes leading to relapse, potentially aiding in a better understanding of disease progression. The novel marker combinations showed a high predicting capacity compared to current references in predicting relapse, suggesting potential for improved non-invasive evaluation of relapse risk in CD patients contemplating anti-TNFα withdrawal.

Summary: This study investigated the adherence to Infliximab (IFX) among Chinese Crohn's disease patients and evaluated the association between medication belief and adherence. The results showed that medication concerns may be a predictive factor of adherence, and by enhancing knowledge and relieving concerns, patients' adherence to IFX can be increased.

Summary: In this study of biologic-naive Korean patients with Crohn's disease, no significant difference was found in long-term clinical outcomes between those treated with infliximab (IFX) and adalimumab (ADA), suggesting that the selection of biologic treatment can be based on patient and/or physician preference.

Summary: This study aimed to determine the healing rate of pediatric perianal Crohn's fistulas and identify factors associated with healing. The results showed that over two-thirds of fistulas heal in pediatric patients with conventional interventions. Younger age at fistula development is associated with an increased likelihood of healing.

Summary: The study found that in CD patients, undergoing CCY was associated with higher disease activity, worse quality of life, increased hospital admissions, and higher risk of colonic dysplasia. These results suggest that CCY may have a negative impact on the clinical course of CD patients.

Summary: In Korean patients, the presence of pCD at CD diagnosis is associated with a lower risk of intestinal resection but does not significantly impact the risk of behavioral progression. pCD at diagnosis is an independent predictor of proctectomy and anorectal cancer.
