Summary: The study evaluated the temporal trend in gender ratios of first and last authors in oncological research, finding an increase in the proportion of female first and last authors from 2002 to 2019, but a decrease in the male to female ratio each year. More efforts are needed to address gender parity for the advancement of women in academic oncology.

Summary: This paper describes and analyzes algorithms for classically simulating measurements of n-qubit quantum states in the standard basis. The algorithms reduce the sampling task and accelerate quantum circuit simulations and measurement-based quantum computation with the surface code resource state.

Summary: This study aimed to assess the frequency of reporting ethnicity and socioeconomic status indicators in high-impact journals. The results showed that the majority of research published in these journals lacks data on the ethnicity and SES of participants, and this omission is rarely acknowledged as a limitation. Therefore, standardized explicit minimum standards are needed to improve this situation.

Summary: This study compares the productivity trends and scholarly impact of COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 literature, and finds a significant increase in the impact factor and citation rates of COVID-19 publications. However, the inflated IFs may create ambiguity as benchmark tools for assessing scholarly impact, affecting the perceived value and trust in journal IFs by academia and society.

Summary: The study aimed to describe the statistical reporting guidance provided to authors by clinical neurology and neuroscience journals. The results showed that most journals had limited requirements for sample size justification, estimates of precision, and method of checking assumptions. They also lacked guidance on reporting/interpretation of p-values, descriptive statistics, and appropriate graphs. Therefore, there is an opportunity for journals to improve the transparency of statistical methods and results in these fields.

Summary: Immunotherapy has emerged as an effective therapeutic option for patients with CTCL, targeting deficits in the immune system to stimulate antitumor responses and clear malignant T cells. Advances in understanding the pathogenesis of CTCL have led to the development of new agents with promising efficacy profiles in recent years. Established and emerging immunotherapies, as well as new approaches to targeting tumor antigens and checkpoint molecules, are being explored for the treatment of CTCL.
