A novel, copper(I)-promoted azide-alkene aerobic oxidative cycloaddition protocol was developed for the regioselective synthesis of 1,4-disubstituted/1,4,5-trisubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles by using azides and electron-deficient olefins under an oxygen atmosphere.
