Treatment of imbalance with varenicline (Chantix®): report of a patient with fragile X tremor/ataxia syndrome

We describe the case of a man with Fragile X tremor/ataxia syndrome, whose ataxia and imbalance improved with the use of varenicline (Chantix((R))) and reverted to baseline 10 days after varenicline was discontinued. Varenicline was started as part of a smoking cessation program.
