The temperature during the study is 293(2) K.

Summary: Five new tricompartmental ligands with three tridentate dibasic ONO sites were synthesized from the condensation of benzene-1,3,5-tricarbohydrazide and 4-formyl-5-pyrazolone derivatives. These ligands formed tris{cis-[MoO2]} complexes with good catalytic potential for oxidation reactions and bromination reactions. The complexes exhibited high selectivity and yield for specific reactions, making them useful functional models of vanadium-dependent haloperoxidases.

Summary: In this study, eggshell/poly pyrrole composites were used to remove chromium (VI) from water. The experimental factors included contact time, pH of the solution, adsorbent dosage, and adsorption isotherms. The results showed that the composites had a favorable effect on chromium removal, especially when prepared with 2g/L Poly Ethylene glycol in a mixture of water and ethanol solvents. The optimum removal time was 30 minutes, and the highest removal percentage was observed at pH 5. The adsorption process followed Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms, and the maximum chromium adsorption capacity was 175.5 mg/g.

Summary: This study synthesized Bi4Ti3O12 (B1) particles, crosslinked B1 with 6-chloro-1,3,5-triazine-diamine (DCT) to obtain B2, and formed B3 using B2 and 4-formylbenzaldehyde (BA-CHO) to investigate its usefulness for photocatalytic UVI removal. B3, with the D-7E-A array structure, effectively reduced UVI to UIV due to energy level matching effects. The UVI removal capacity of B3 under simulated sunlight was 684.9 mg g-1, 2.5 times greater than B1 and 1.8 times greater than B2.

This study focuses on a new family of layered HOIPs called diammonium-halide-diammonium (DHD) perovskites, which have an organic 'spacer' layer. The synthesis of lead-free double perovskite systems using DHD perovskites is also presented, with a discussion on the chemical and structural design considerations.

Summary: An antibiofouling ultrathin poly(amidoxime) membrane (AUPM) with highly enhanced uranium (U) adsorption performance was developed by incorporating quaternized chitosan (Q-CS) and poly(amidoxime) in a cross-linked sulfonated cellulose nanocrystals (S-CNC) network. The AUPM demonstrated excellent U recovery efficiency in low-concentration U-added pure water and seawater, along with a superior antibiofouling property. This novel membrane showed promising potential for large-scale U-recovery, providing a convenient and universal strategy for fabricating highly efficient and cost-effective U-adsorbents.
