Summary: The study evaluated whether radiomics signature of PCAT based on CCTA could improve the prediction of future ACS within 3 years. Radiomics score outperformed plaque score in identifying patients with future ACS, while the improvement of integrated score was non-significant. The study suggests that CCTA-based radiomics signature of PCAT has the potential to predict the occurrence of subsequent ACS within 3 years.

Summary: Coronary CTA is found to be equivalent to ICA in assessing long-term risk in patients with NSTEACS, with the rate of primary endpoint being up to 1.7-fold higher in patients with obstructive CAD compared to those with nonobstructive CAD as defined by both imaging modalities.

Summary: Combining coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) with coronary artery calcium (CAC) score can significantly improve the diagnosis of coronary artery disease (CAD). The addition of CAC score is particularly beneficial when CCTA alone is inconclusive.

Summary: This study retrospectively assessed the association between the appropriateness of post-CCTA management according to CAD-RADS 2.0 and clinical outcomes. The results showed that appropriate management was associated with a lower risk of major adverse cardiovascular events and a more prudent use of invasive coronary angiography.

Summary: This study aimed to estimate the cost-effectiveness of early CT coronary angiography (CTCA) for intermediate risk patients with suspected acute coronary syndrome (ACS), compared with standard care. The results showed that within the trial, there were no significant differences in costs or QALYs between early CTCA and standard care. Long-term economic analysis suggested higher long-term costs with CTCA and uncertain effect on long-term QALYs, making routine use of CTCA for suspected ACS unlikely to be a cost-effective use of NHS resources.

Summary: This study systematically investigated and summarized the utility of coronary computed tomographic angiography (CCTA) in the management of chronic total occlusion (CTO)-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The results showed that CCTA is a safe and effective pre-operative tool, with a high degree of agreement with invasive coronary angiograms (ICA) images.

Summary: This study demonstrated that dynamic CT myocardial perfusion imaging combined with coronary CT angiography has high diagnostic value in ACS patients without obstructive coronary angiography, providing accurate etiology evaluation and serving as a useful alternative for patients who cannot undergo cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.

Summary: This study compared the pericoronary adipose tissue (PCAT) attenuation between acute coronary syndrome and stable coronary artery disease patients. The results showed that the PCAT attenuation in culprit lesion precursors of acute coronary syndrome patients was significantly higher than nonculprit lesions and lesions of stable coronary artery disease patients. Therefore, PCAT attenuation may be a novel marker for identifying high-risk plaques.

Summary: In this study, the feasibility of using CTA for assessing dilatation of anterior choroidal artery and posterior communicating artery in moyamoya syndrome patients was evaluated. Results showed that CTA had high sensitivity and specificity in diagnosing anterior choroidal artery dilatation, and a PComA/P1 ratio greater than 0.71 indicated the presence of posterior communicating artery dilatation.

Summary: This study aimed to compare the diagnostic accuracy of Agatston score and CTA in the diagnosis of CAD. The results showed that CTA had significantly higher diagnostic accuracy than Agatston score in patients with stable chest pain, suspected CAD, and a clinical indication for ICA. However, there is still a possibility of obstructive CAD in patients with an Agatston score of zero.
