A dictionary consisting of 260 commonly used terms in the green chemistry literature over the last quarter century is compiled for easy reference in a single source. The best available data sets of key parameters important for evaluating the degree of greenness of chemical processes for about 300 first- and second-generation chemical feedstocks, including 75 solvents, relevant to life cycle, safety hazard, and energy consumption assessments are also presented. Lavoisier numbers are introduced as a new kernel material efficiency metric analogous to process mass intensity.
