Summary: This study empirically explored the effects of critical delay factors (CDFs) on transnational mega construction project (TMCP) success with the moderating influence of leadership self-efficacy (LSE). The findings revealed a negative relationship between CDFs and TMCP success, with the moderating effect of LSE being positive.

Summary: Access to training and education in novel surgical and medical techniques is challenging in low-and-middle income settings, but video-based education tools can provide cost-effective and sustainable solutions, allowing clinicians in remote areas to develop new skills and improve patient care quality. A successful case in Tanzania showed how a clinician performed a transabdominal cerclage after studying a video developed by our team, resulting in successful pregnancy outcomes for two patients with poor obstetric histories. Video is a versatile medium that should be further integrated into surgical training curricula globally.

Summary: This paper proposes a novel auxiliary loss function mDcA to directly produce calibrated DNN models during training. By using mDcA in conjunction with other task-specific loss functions, training with mDcA leads to better calibrated models in image classification and segmentation tasks, and also performs well under domain shift and imbalanced data.

Summary: This study examined the impact of NFE2L2 mutations on the response to ICIs in NSCLC and other cancers. The results showed that Nrf2-activating mutations were associated with higher tumor mutational burden and shorter overall survival in pan-cancer patients. However, these mutations did not affect the response to ICIs treatment. Patients with NFE2L2 mutations had better objective responses to ICIs in NSCLC and other cancer cohorts.
