Impact of paternal age on assisted reproductive technology outcomes and offspring health: a systematic review

The Impact of Recipient Demographics on Outcomes from Living Donor Kidneys: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Corporate giving and its impact on consumer evaluations: A meta-analysis

Summary: This meta-analysis examines the impact of corporate-giving factors on consumer evaluations and tests the effect of conceptual and study-related moderators. The study includes evidence from 114 papers with a cumulative sample size of 108,853. Results indicate that perceived CSR is the strongest driver for all outcomes, but the hypothesized impact of cause proximity on brand attitude is not supported. The study resolves conflicting claims in the literature and provides evidence-based guidance for resource allocation in corporate-giving.

A SWOT analysis of unregulated sperm donation

Summary: In the past decade, an unregulated system of sperm donation has developed alongside formal fertility clinics and sperm banks. This paper presents a SWOT analysis of this new development. The informal system's main strength is the demedicalization of sperm donation, increasing women's reproductive autonomy. The main weakness is the potential for abuse and morally questionable behavior by donors. However, many of the reported disadvantages, such as no ability to limit offspring or genetic testing, also exist in the formal system.

Self-reported mental health status of donor sperm-conceived adults

Electronic-Textile 12-Lead Equivalent Diagnostic Electrocardiogram Based on the EASI Lead Placement

Summary: The accuracy and reliability of a 12-lead equivalent ECG prototype based on the EASI configuration were evaluated in this study. The results showed that the prototype reproduced cardiac abnormalities and was comparable to standard 12-lead resting ECG. Additionally, the vest and textile electrodes demonstrated good performance in the washing cycle test.

Additionally, the study will promote clinician endorsement of CR and develop an electronic referral system to increase referral rates. Professional development interventions and an accreditation program will be developed to promote CR quality improvement.

Summary: This study aims to consolidate the evidence on the effectiveness of activity-monitoring devices and mobile applications on physical activity and health outcomes of patients with cardiovascular disease attending cardiac rehabilitation programs. The findings from systematic reviews and meta-analyses suggest that the use of these devices and applications can increase activity levels, improve behavioral habits, and reduce clinical indicators among cardiac rehabilitation patients, although the clinical benefits are limited. Overall, these devices and applications are effective in improving outcomes for cardiac rehabilitation patients.

Association between maternal marginalization and infants born with congenital heart disease in Ontario Canada

Development and evaluation of a co-designed website for delivering interactive self-directed cardiac rehabilitation

Summary: This study reports on the development and evaluation of a co-designed website for interactive self-directed cardiac rehabilitation. A multi-method user experience design framework was used to co-design the web application, and usability testing was conducted. Participants' design specifications and lived experiences were collected through thematic analysis. The website's effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction were evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The usability of the website showed improvement, and the upcoming evaluation will focus on its effectiveness.

With an increasing number of people becoming homebound, they are facing social isolation and deteriorating well-being. Studies and reports suggest that providing telehealth solutions may benefit these individuals by addressing their healthcare needs and preventing serious health issues.
