The genus Sellaclymenia is revised based on the original type specimens and other so far undescribed specimens. Two Central European species are known: S. plana (MUNSTER, 1832) and S. torleyi (WEDEKIND, 1914). The genus has only a short stratigraphic range in the traditional Clymenia Stufe of the late Famennian.
