Summary: This study isolated new alkaloids from Delphinium peregrinum and evaluated their antifungal activity against different dermatophyte fungal isolates. Peregrine (2) was found to be the most effective alkaloid, but the application of a mixture of alkaloids showed significant synergistic activity.

Summary: A new C-19-diterpenoid alkaloid named gyalanutine A and fourteen known compounds were isolated from the plant of Delphinium gyalanum. The structure of gyalanutine A was determined to have an unusual lycoctonine-type skeleton. The compounds were tested for acetylcholinesterase inhibitory and anti-inflammatory activity.

Summary: Thirteen new benzamide alkaloids were isolated from Delphinium anthriscifolium. Compound 1 possesses a previously undescribed carbon framework. Compound 2 is an artifact formed during the extraction process. Compound 7 is glycosylated while compound 13 contains a chlorine substituent. Compounds 6, 8, and 10-12 showed significant inhibition of LPS-induced NO production in cells.

Summary: In this study, a new denudatine-type C-20-diterpenoid alkaloid named arcutisine was isolated from the roots of Aconitum fischeri var. arcuatum, along with 24 known compounds. The structures were elucidated through spectroscopic analyses. The isolation of compounds 1 and 2 from natural sources for the first time, and the weak anti-inflammatory activity of compounds 7 and 10 at a concentration of 40 μM were notable findings.

Summary: Seven new diterpenoid alkaloids were isolated from Delphinium grandiflorum, along with eight reaction products and thirteen known compounds. Grandiflonines A and B have a unique C-20 diterpenoid alkaloid skeleton, with the configuration of C-18 inverted. The analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities of these compounds were evaluated, with deoxylappaconitine showing superior analgesic activity compared to lappaconitine.

Summary: This research identified four novel diterpenoid alkaloids from Delphinium brunonianum with activity reducing hepatocytes lipid accumulation. One of the alkaloids showed the strongest inhibitory effect. The study provides experimental evidence for the chemical composition of D. brunonianum and its potential in treating diseases related to lipid accumulation.

Summary: Three new hetisine type C-20-diterpenoid alkaloids, trichophorines A-C (1-3), were isolated from Delphinium trichophorum, along with nine known alkaloids (4-12). Their structures were determined using spectroscopic methods. None of the compounds showed significant inhibitory activity against LPS-induced NO production in RAW 264.7 macrophage cells.

Summary: Although many diterpenoid alkaloids have been evaluated for their antiproliferative activity, little is known about the effects of hetisine-type C20-diterpenoid alkaloids and their derivatives. In this study, a total of 43 novel derivatives were prepared and their antiproliferative effects against human cancer cell lines were evaluated. The results showed that some newly synthesized derivatives exhibited significant suppressive effects, suggesting that these compounds could be potential candidates for overcoming triple-negative breast cancer.
