Summary: This study explores the perspectives of parents and the experiences of Singaporean parents receiving perinatal support during the COVID-19 pandemic through the Supportive Parenting App (SPA). The findings suggest that although the pandemic has negatively affected parents' access to support, most parents were able to find alternative sources of support, and the SPA was found to be a reliable source of information for parents in the intervention group. Future research should focus on improving technology-based support to provide better perinatal care for parents.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the impact of a mobile patient education system (MPES) and patient trust on patient adherence to prescribed medical therapies. The results showed that patient-physician communication and the use of an MPES significantly increased patients' trust in their physicians. Patient trust had a prominent effect on patient attitude toward treatment adherence, which in turn influenced patients' behavioral intention and actual adherence behavior.

Summary: There is a pressing need for accurate and engaging web-based health care content to inform and influence behavioral change. This study aimed to identify factors affecting engagement with web-based health care content and developed a framework based on six key categories: easy to understand, support, adaptability, accessibility, visuals and content, and credibility and completeness. Despite significant heterogeneity in interventions and outcome assessments, the framework may be useful for creators in the field. Existing data on this topic are limited, and future work may involve further refinement of the framework through a co-design process.

Summary: This study investigates the preferences of stroke survivors for a hypothetical mHealth app for post-stroke care and examines the influence of demographic variables on these preferences. The study found that stroke survivors are willing to adopt mHealth apps that are free and provide technical support, with a particular interest in features that track fitness and diet. Perceived usefulness of the app's features is higher among younger stroke survivors and stroke survivors of color.

Summary: This review examines the advancements in utilizing technology to address perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). Various technologies with potential for direct intervention, prevention, and augmentation of clinical care for PMADs were identified. While the available evidence for these technologies in PMADs is largely positive, it is limited compared to general mental health populations. Increasing the use of technology has the potential to address accessibility, affordability, and patient acceptance barriers in PMADs.
