Summary: Lymphedema is a chronic disorder that impedes lymphatic fluid return. Breast cancer treatment can lead to breast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL), causing significant morbidity and reduced quality of life. Early detection and complex decongestive therapy (CDT) are essential for prevention and treatment. Aquatic exercise, combined with health resort and thermal mineral-rich waters, may offer a promising alternative for BCRL rehabilitation.

Summary: Spa therapy is a combination of techniques based on water's healing effects, including hydrotherapy, balneotherapy, and mud therapy. This study aimed to review the available evidence on the effect of spa therapy on serotonin and dopamine function. The findings highlight the lack of studies evaluating these neurotransmitters and hormones in the context of spa therapy, emphasizing the need for further research to evaluate the potential effects of these therapies on serotonin or dopamine function.

Summary: Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is widely used by skin cancer patients, with self-administration rates reaching up to 40%-50% in melanoma. Phytochemicals, particularly Curcumin, have shown promising in vitro efficacy against skin cancer, but there is a lack of human clinical trials supporting CAM effectiveness in skin cancer treatment.

Summary: Economic evaluations of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) have shown some evidence of cost-effectiveness, but are associated with significant uncertainty and bias. Products such as chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy, gene therapy, and tissue-engineered products have been identified as potentially cost-effective, but with limitations in long-term outcomes and evidence on health state utilities.

Summary: The exchange of groundwater and surface water in salt marsh ecosystems plays a crucial role in mediating nearshore salt, nutrient, and carbon budgets, impacting biological productivity and global climate. However, there is a lack of synthesis in salt marsh groundwater studies, with biases in field studies towards microtidal systems on the US East Coast. The positive correlation between tidal range and submarine groundwater discharge highlights the multidimensional drivers of marsh hydrogeology, requiring further research to reduce uncertainties in global budget estimates.
