Summary: This study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of early cumulus cell removal during human in vitro fertilization (IVF). The retrospective analysis of 1131 couples revealed that early cumulus cell removal was associated with a higher cumulative live birth rate and cumulative pregnancy rate, without any negative effects on the neonatal malformation rate.

Summary: This study investigated the characteristics of hCG levels and rise patterns in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) after in vitro fertilization (IVF). The results showed that there was no substantial difference in hCG rise curves between the GDM and non-GDM groups, and low hCG values in early pregnancy may be a clue to help predict GDM in subsequent gestation.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate a more accurate and non-invasive method in embryo evaluation by combining time-lapse morphokinetic parameters and cumulus cells transcriptomic profile. Different groups of embryos showed distinct differences in both time-lapse parameters and transcriptomic profiles, indicating that this combined approach could improve the accuracy of embryo selection and pregnancy rate in ART clinics.

Summary: This study compared the gene expression profiles of cumulus granulosa cells in patients with diminished ovarian reserve and those with normal ovarian reserves. It identified IL1RL1, IL33, SFRP4, and S1PR1 as potential genes involved in the pathogenesis of diminished ovarian reserve.

Summary: A measurement of endometrial thickness less than 8mm during the human chorionic gonadotropin triggering phase in IVF-ET can increase the risk of various obstetric complications, while an endometrial thickness above 7 to 8mm is generally associated with improved IVF outcomes.

Summary: The lymphatic vascular system plays a crucial role in cancer progression by activating lymphatic endothelial cells and facilitating the formation of new lymphatic vessels. This study revealed that cancer-derived and microenvironmental mediators activate specific molecular pathways in lymphatic endothelial cells, leading to endothelial activation, morphogenesis, and cytokine-mediated signaling. The findings provide new insights into the lymphangiogenesis process and its relevance in different types of tumors.

Summary: This study used single-cell sequencing data to reconstruct the trajectory of HSC transdifferentiation and identified switching genes involved in the activation process. A novel cell state during HSC activation was discovered, which may be relevant to cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs). Additionally, a four-gene combination was established for predicting advanced liver fibrosis in patients.

Summary: This study investigates the link between female BMI and live birth rates and maternal and perinatal outcomes after IVF. The results show a decrease in live birth rate and an increase in maternal and perinatal complications with increasing BMI. Strategies to address this issue are necessary.
