Summary: This study describes the prevalence of suicidal ideation in US emergency departments and the feasibility and impact of universal suicide screening for high-risk patients. The high-risk group had a higher proportion of male patients, government payors, and longer ED length of stay. After the implementation of suicide screening, the proportion of 1:1 observations slightly decreased. Overall, implementing suicide screening is important for improving the conditions in emergency departments and reducing the risk of death.

Summary: Despite the availability of the Unified Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) Rating Scale (UMSARS) for almost two decades, studies still use scales developed for Parkinson's disease (PD) or ataxia (ATX). Our aim was to evaluate the use of UMSARS (part II, motor) compared to other motor rating scales in patients with MSA. The results showed that although UMSARS use increased over time, there was still misuse of PD and ATX scales in MSA patients.

Summary: This paper proposes two techniques for real-time interconnection and optimal resource allocation in a large-scale distributed system. By analyzing data transfer rate and utilization, including communication between power production data and individual controllers, and determining the optimal number of physical resources for a given system, the research provides guidance for designing and configuring cluster microgrid platforms.
