Summary: In patients with PCOS, 12% experience TVS in the 3 months prior to the event. Isolated dizziness/vertigo of unknown cause should be considered as a symptom of vertebrobasilar transient ischemic attack, especially in those with vascular risk factors. The characteristics of isolated vestibular symptoms in vertebrobasilar transient ischemic attacks are highly variable and atypical compared to other transient ischemic symptoms.

Summary: The study aimed to explore the relationship between Obstetric Quality of Recovery survey and Edinburgh postnatal depression scale measured 6 weeks after delivery. The results showed that lower quality of recovery during hospitalization, pre-existing depression or anxiety, and hospital readmission were associated with positive screening for postpartum depression at 6 weeks.

Summary: Postpartum depression (PPD) is a severe psychiatric disorder that significantly impacts postnatal mothers worldwide. This study demonstrated a significant association between postpartum pain sensitivity and PPD, with PSQ-C scores being a reliable predictor. Additionally, gestational diabetes, low breastfeeding rates, and low birth weight were identified as risk factors for PPD.

Summary: Postpartum urinary incontinence can affect women's quality of life. This study evaluated the persistence of incontinence and associated risk factors among nulliparous women who developed it during pregnancy. Interviews and questionnaires were used to assess the recovery of urinary incontinence 3 months after delivery. The study found that expectant management is advised in most cases and that recovery rates were high among nulliparous women.

Summary: We examined the relationship between sedentary time and pelvic floor support in primiparas who delivered vaginally. The results showed that decreasing sedentary time and increasing moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) led to a higher prevalence of worse pelvic floor support. However, increasing light physical activity (LPA) did not have a significant effect on pelvic floor support. This study highlights the importance of reducing sedentary time and engaging in MVPA for maintaining pelvic floor health.

Summary: This study investigated pelvic floor changes in primiparas with postpartum stress urinary incontinence (SUI) after vaginal delivery using pelvic floor MRI. The results suggest that increased retrovesicourethral angle, shortened functional urethral length, and the presence of bladder funnel may be important anatomical predictors for SUI in the early postpartum period.

Summary: The study confirmed the subjective sensation of click when puncturing the dura-arachnoid with different types of spinal needles, indicating that click recognition could serve as an additional indicator of successful spinal puncture. Both subjective and objective evaluations demonstrated that participants could distinguish among needles of different tip shapes, and subjective numerical rating scale values corresponded well with objectively measured changes in force.
