Summary: This study aimed to evaluate the impact of a 12-week yoga program on health-related quality of life, physical and psychological functioning in rheumatoid arthritis patients. While no significant differences were found in SF-36 scores between the yoga and control group, yoga showed improvements in fatigue and mood. The feasibility and safety of this yoga program suggest that it could complement standard RA treatment strategies.

Summary: This study aimed to assess the severity levels of different fatigue dimensions in bDMARDs treated RA patients and their associations with pain, sleep quality, and psychological well-being. The study found significant associations between pain and disability with physical fatigue, and between anxiety and mental fatigue. The study also highlighted the importance of individualized approach in addressing fatigue in RA patients, taking into account their mental health problems, pain levels, and disability levels.

Summary: This study assessed the prevalence of impaired sleep quality and depression in rheumatoid arthritis patients and found a correlation between the two. Multivariate analysis revealed a significant association between subjective DAS components and outcomes, as well as a link between long-term steroid use and poorer sleep quality.

Summary: Patients with rheumatoid arthritis often experience depression and poor sleep, which may worsen disease activity. This study found a correlation between RA disease activity, depression, and sleep quality. However, the association between depression and disease activity was confounded by the patients' health assessment.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the correlations between pain, quality of life, fatigue, levels of depression, disability and activity, and sleep quality and common sleep disorders in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The results showed that patients with RA may suffer from poor sleep quality, attributed to depression, fatiguability, disability, and disease activity.

Summary: This study assessed the level of quality of life (QoL) and the relationship between anxiety and depression levels and QoL in patients treated for rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The results showed that depression and anxiety negatively correlated with various domains of QoL, and depression was found to be an independent determinant of decreased QoL.

Summary: This study describes the sleep quality among rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients and identifies predictors of optimal sleep. The researchers found that half of the RA patients achieved optimal sleep, and factors such as baseline BMI, fatigue score, follow-up time, and SF-36 physical summary score were predictive of optimal sleep.

Summary: Previous research has shown that female athletes generally sleep better than male athletes according to objective measures but report worse subjective sleep quality. This study further explores the impact of the menstrual cycle on sleep quality in female athletes, revealing differences in sleep stages during different phases such as longer sleep during menstrual bleeding days and changes in deep sleep and sleep efficiency throughout the menstrual cycle.

Summary: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of progressive muscle relaxation on sleep quality and fatigue in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The results showed that after performing progressive muscle relaxation for 6 weeks, patients in the intervention group had improved sleep quality and reduced fatigue compared to the control group. Therefore, progressive muscle relaxation can be recommended as a method to enhance sleep quality and reduce fatigue in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

Summary: This study aimed to assess the network structure of depression and anxiety symptoms in Chinese RA patients and identified the central and bridge symptoms. The results showed that feeling down and not feeling cheerful were the strongest central symptoms, while trouble relaxing and feeling down were bridge symptoms in the anxiety-depression network of RA patients. Nurses should prioritize these symptoms when intervening in depression and anxiety symptoms.

Summary: This study investigated the influence of various factors on the quality of life in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, including body image, disease activity score, anxiety, depression, fatigue, sleep quality, and pain. By using a structural equation model, it was found that pain had the most significant impact on quality of life. Comprehensive assessment of patients' symptoms, social support, and other factors is crucial for improving patients' quality of life.
