While the intracellular parasite Toxoplasma relies on a divergent actomyosin motor to support unique speeds in directional movement, the dynamics and architecture of parasite actin filaments remain a much-discussed issue. Using actin chromobodies, Periz et a/. started to unveil how networks of dynamic F-actin connect Toxoplasma progeny and expand in the replicative vacuole.
