Summary: This study aimed to determine longitudinal predictors of health-related quality of life in patients with isolated dystonia. The results showed that depressive symptoms, generalized anxiety disorder, and social anxiety disorder significantly impacted HR-QoL, highlighting the importance of incorporating mental health treatment into treatment regimens.

Summary: In patients with atrial fibrillation (AF), health-related quality of life (HRQoL) remained stable over time, regardless of baseline patient characteristics. Clinical events such as hospitalization for heart failure, stroke, and bleeding had only a temporary effect on HRQoL.

Summary: This study developed and validated a health-related quality of life instrument called the HRQ-6D, aiming to measure an individual's HRQOL within a 24-hour period. Through the questionnaire development and testing process involving five phases, six domains were identified, and the HRQ-6D was found to be reliable, valid, and significantly associated with clinical evidence.

Summary: This multi-center longitudinal cohort study aimed to assess the trajectories of health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in children with chronic kidney disease (CKD) over time. The results showed that the HRQoL scores differed between children with different CKD stages, and the transition from dialysis to transplantation was significantly associated with the improvement in HRQoL. Children with CKD stage 1-5 and transplant recipients at baseline had stable HRQoL over time.

Summary: The study identified five core domains of HRQoL in individuals with hypospadias and proposed a model based on these domains and their areas of overlap. This conceptual framework may guide future qualitative studies and interventions aimed at improving medical care and quality of life outcomes for HS patients.

Summary: This study aimed to characterize medical sequelae and persistent symptoms in COVID-19 survivors. The results showed a high burden of persistent symptoms after COVID-19, but extensive diagnostic evaluation did not reveal a specific cause in most cases. Women and individuals with a history of anxiety disorder had an increased risk for post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Summary: This study translated the CPQ(8 similar to 10) into Chinese and evaluated its reliability and validity. The results showed that the Chinese version of CPQ(8 similar to 10) had a structure consistent with the original questionnaire and displayed good reliability and validity. This study facilitates the application of CPQ(8 similar to 10) in China for evaluating the oral health-related quality of life of 8 similar to 10-year-old children.

Summary: This study examined the structure and predictive ability of intrinsic capacity in a cohort of Chinese older adults, identifying five sub-factors and one general factor. Lower intrinsic capacity scores were found in older age groups, women, and those with lower education levels, more chronic diseases, or higher IADL limitations. Intrinsic capacity had a direct predictive effect on future IADL limitations at the 7-year follow-up.
