Summary: Drawing on the communities of practice framework and using an emic microanalytic perspective, this study explores how bilingual heritage speakers make relevant their novice-expert identities through references to their expertise and during repair activity. Data analysis reveals fluctuations in bilingual heritage speakers' orientations to their novice and expert identities, and shows that the construction of a social identity is a dynamic and situationally-bounded process.

Summary: The aim of this study was to evaluate the differences in visual search behavior between experts and novices in team sports athletes. The analysis of 22 studies found that the distinction between experts and novices was not clear in the variables analyzed, possibly due to the different strategies chosen in each study. This indicates the need for more research in this field to address this issue.

Summary: This study analyzed the differential response behavior of experts and novices when using a multiple-choice PCK instrument. The results showed that experts scored significantly higher and had more consistent answers than novices. Experts more often correctly understood the intended meaning of the items and answered based on their PCK, while novices focused more on surface characteristics like intuition and personal experience. Therefore, it is important to consider the understanding and response differences among different target groups when developing PCK instruments.

Summary: The purpose of this study is to measure the concurrent validity of the Athletic Skills Track (AST) by examining its correlation with the holistic judgments of experts about movement quality. The results show that the holistic ratings of movement quality by teachers are significantly correlated with AST time, indicating that higher ratings are associated with shorter completion time. In addition to holistic ratings, age also explains part of the variance in AST time, while gender does not. This study suggests that the AST has good concurrent validity and can provide a fast, indirect indication of movement quality.

Summary: The study demonstrates that poor motor coordination is highly prevalent and closely linked to risk of mental health disorders and lower intellectual function in children with ND-CNVs. Coordination ability acts as a full mediator for anxiety symptoms and a partial mediator for ADHD, autism spectrum disorder traits, and IQ scores. Future research should investigate the possibility of early interventions ameliorating neurodevelopmental risks associated with poor coordination ability.

Summary: In recent years, enzyme-based biocatalytic systems have gained increasing attention in industrial and applied research. These systems have been applied in sustainable and environmentally friendly production processes in various industries. However, the low stability of enzymes and difficulties in separation, recovery, and reusability have limited their industrial-scale manufacturing. Immobilization and co-immobilization on robust support materials have emerged as valuable strategies to overcome these challenges. By using environmentally friendly bio-polymers and nanostructured materials, multi-enzyme co-immobilization offers improved process efficiency and cost-effectiveness in biotechnological and chemical industries.

Summary: This study compared the effects of single High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and combining HIIT with an incongruent Stroop task on mental and physical fatigue indicators. The results showed that combining the Stroop task with HIIT increased mental fatigue and perceived exertion, but did not affect external (speed) and internal (heart rate) factors. This suggests that mental fatigue can increase the subjective perception of physical exertion, but does not decrease the physical workload during HIIT for tennis players.

Summary: Lignin modifying enzymes (LMEs) have been widely recognized for their ability to depolymerize lignin polymers through oxidative cleavage. LMEs include enzymes such as lignin peroxidase, manganese peroxidase, versatile peroxidase, laccase, and dye-decolorizing peroxidase, and they have been extensively studied for their applications in lignin valorization and oxidative cleavage of xenobiotics and phenolics. Although LMEs have garnered significant attention in biotechnology and industry, their potential future applications are still underexplored. Further research is needed to fully understand the underlying mechanism of LMEs and their potential for sustainable pollution mitigation.
