Summary: In recent years, research on alternative and new energy sources has been actively conducted to address environmental pollution issues. This study focuses on hydrogen as a new energy source, which has no greenhouse gas emissions and can be produced from compounds such as water and organic matter without regional bias. The study verifies the numerical method and establishes the relationship between Nu and Re numbers by comparing experimental and numerical analysis data. By applying the dimensionless number relationship to the Fortran code, the coded program is validated by comparing it with a commercial program. The analysis results show that the final charging temperature of the hydrogen charging storage vessel can be effectively adjusted by the APRR and inflow temperature settings.

Summary: This study introduces a new three-phase Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) model for simulating oil spill containment. The model incorporates Level Sets and spring forces to capture the evolution of interfaces and handle multi-phase deformation. By comparing numerical results with experimental data, the study reveals that the movement of oil spills is dominated by the current when the current exceeds 0.2 m/s, providing important insights for the design of effective containment systems.

Summary: Accurately determining the timing of hydrocarbon charging events in petroleum systems is crucial for understanding the history of oil fields. Traditional methods often prove unreliable in complex tectonic basins, but the recent development of calcite U-Pb dating has provided a valuable tool for precisely determining these timings.

Summary: This study investigates the potential use of large separate heat pipes for passive cooling in removing decay heat from spent fuel pools, presenting a heat pipe model that considers filling ratio effects. Experimental results show that the optimal filling ratio varies for different working fluids, and the simulation accuracy of the separate heat pipe model is significantly higher than that of conventional heat pipes.

Summary: This study investigates the petrophysical properties and diagenesis of the Lower Cretaceous Bayingebi Formation in the Yin`E Basin, Northern China. Various analysis techniques, such as casting thin sections, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction, and fluid inclusion analysis, were used to examine the reservoirs and understand the diagenesis and hydrocarbon accumulation phases. The study also explores the burial evolution history, organic matter thermal evolution, and hydrocarbon charge. The results reveal different types of pores and diagenetic processes in the sandstone reservoirs. Additionally, the study identifies three phases of hydrocarbon accumulation based on the homogenization temperature of the fluid inclusions and burial evolution history.

Summary: The hydraulic torque converter is a key component in high-power tracked vehicles, and its axial force is influenced by charging oil conditions. A computational fluid dynamics method is used to study the axial force characteristic of the torque converter and its oil effects. A novel axial force-testing method is proposed, and experiments on a torque converter prototype have been completed. The research findings reveal the impact of oil viscosity and pressure on the axial force, and a formula for the axial force is proposed under different oil pressures. A novel method to suppress axial force without altering the structure is also validated.
