Barium hexaferrite pellets were prepared by sintering method and single crystal was obtained by flux technique. The thermal expansion coefficients of Ba0,3Pb0,7Fe12O19 single crystal along a and c axes are 9.9 * 10(-6) K-1 and 17.4 * 10(-6) K-1. It is in a good agreement with thermal expansion coefficients of pellets. The complicated expansion curve along a axe at 400-780 degrees C could originate from magnetic disordering near Curie temperature. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
