Two new illudane sesquiterpenoids, craterellins D and E (1 and 2), and one new menthane monoterpene, 4-hydroxy-4-isopropenyl-cyclohexanemethanol acetate (3), were isolated from cultures of Craterellus cornucopioides. Structures of 1-3 were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis. Their cytotoxic activities on five tumor cell lines were evaluated. [GRAPHICS] .
