Summary: Integrated traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Western medicine (WM) is a unique modern medical system in China, with a long history and important achievements. However, currently published clinical practice guidelines have methodological defects that limit its development. This study aims to establish a standardized development procedure for clinical practice guidelines to promote the systematic integration of TCM and WM research results into clinical practice, achieving optimal results as a whole.

Summary: This study investigated the perceptions of traditional Chinese medicine doctors about wearable devices and diagnostic instruments, and explored the factors that influenced their perceptions. The results categorized their perceptions under convenience, reliability, suitable population, machine usage scenario, and the integration of traditional Chinese medicine and information communication technology. The perceptions were found to be influenced by age, title, type of hospital, and specialty. The study concluded that the use of wearable devices and traditional Chinese medicine diagnostic instruments has been gradually accepted by traditional Chinese medicine doctors, but further improvement in knowledge and skills related to information communication technology integration is needed.

Summary: This study investigated the evidence-based practice competence of traditional Chinese Nursing Bachelor students and their influencing factors. The results showed deficiencies in evidence implementation and a decrease in evidence-based practice attitudes among fourth-year students. To improve evidence-based practice competence, the evidence-based nursing courses could be optimized, and research and English activities could be enriched.

Summary: Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has a long history in treating infectious diseases, particularly the common cold and flu. It is difficult to differentiate between these two based on symptoms alone. While there is a flu vaccine, there is no specific vaccine or medication for the common cold. This review systematically evaluates the scientific evidence supporting the efficacy of TCM in treating colds for the first time, considering theoretical principles, clinical research, pharmacological perspectives, and underlying mechanisms. The findings suggest that TCM is effective and safe for treating colds, and may be used as a complementary or alternative approach. Further high-quality clinical trials and pharmacological studies are needed for verification and optimization of TCM's clinical practice and scientific research for cold treatment.

Summary: Traditional Chinese medicine has a long history and is widely used in clinical practice, but its role in the prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease remains unclear due to lack of scientific evidence. Randomized controlled trials have shown that traditional Chinese medicine can be used as a complementary method in managing coronary artery disease, with similar safety profile to conventional medications. Further research with long-term endpoints is needed to fully assess its safety and efficacy.

Summary: The transformation and implementation of clinical practice guidelines for integrated traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Western medicine (WM) is crucial for the adoption and international availability of medical science and technological findings. This study analyzed the current situation and problems in existing guidelines of TCM and WM integration, and explored the degree and methods of integration in Chinese and Western medicine guidelines. The findings will contribute to the establishment of Chinese characteristic, repeatable, and calculable clinical practice guidelines for TCM and WM integration.

Summary: Teachers who teach Chinese as an L2 in Australian secondary schools have different beliefs about engagement strategies. While all teachers realize that following the structure of a given textbook closely and teaching to the test are not suitable approaches in Australia, they have different opinions about emphasizing students' efforts, creating a fun learning environment, and empowering students as partners in their learning. This study provides implications for L2 Chinese teaching and teacher professional development in the Anglophone context.

Summary: SARS-CoV-2 has caused a global pandemic with millions of cases and deaths, and while traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has shown effectiveness in treating COVID-19, the need for international cooperation in establishing guidelines for its use in diverse populations remains. Further research on TCM's efficacy in psychological abnormalities related to COVID-19 is also necessary to provide a comprehensive understanding of its role in prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts.

Summary: The aim of this study is to critically evaluate the quality of published systematic reviews/meta-analyses of traditional Chinese medicine for adults with ischemic stroke and rate the quality of evidence using the GRADE approach. A total of 83 reviews met the inclusion criteria and were evaluated. The results showed that the reporting quality of these reviews is poor and lacks valid information, and more than half of the included studies have low levels of evidence.
