This study presents a singly fed aperture coupled dual-band circularly polarised dielectric resonator antenna (CPDRA). A fan-blade-shaped dielectric resonator is used to achieve the dual-band circularly polarised response. The proposed CPDRA operates with the fundamental mode in lower band. The upper band response of the CPDRA can be tuned either with the second- or third-order mode at different frequencies of C-band. Also, the polarisation of antenna can be reversed with the change in operating higher order mode in upper band by varying the slot position.
