Summary: This paper proposes a machine learning-based framework, called MORM, to address the challenge of insufficient coverage of the Pareto front in many-objective optimization problems. The framework reversely maps the objective values to decision variables using a learning model constructed on the initial PF set. It generates candidate solutions using inexpensive generative techniques and covers the initial PF efficiently through iteratively generated non-dominated candidate solutions.

Summary: This study investigates the effects of positively charged substituents on the hydrogen evolution reaction and finds that this effect can improve the activity and selectivity of the CO2 reduction reaction. This provides insights for the design of HER catalysts and has important implications for the design of catalysts for CO2RR.

Summary: This work conducted field tests to explore the causes of failure of connecting bolts between the axle box front cover and axle box body on high-speed trains. The results revealed the 20th-order polygonization of the wheel and drastic vibration of the front cover at a speed of 300 km/h. The bench test reproduced the unique and drastic vibration phenomenon and confirmed the responsibility of wheel polygonization for the vibration of the front cover. Operational Modal Analysis and theoretical analysis verified the existence of non-linear vibration of the front cover under 20th-order polygonization. The study also investigated the cause of bolt failure and the dynamic characteristics of the front cover resulting from different wheel polygon orders.

Summary: In this study, the DNA-like double helix is used to represent the structure of parameterized quantum circuit, which corresponds to the design of a revised multiobjective genetic algorithm. The split circuit fragment at the end of the double helix represents the optimization of the parameterized quantum circuit structure. The two guide lines colored by red and blue represent the two objectives (gradient and cost) to be optimized.

Summary: Experimental results showed that the erosion rates on the cover of the inner front pole in a 12.5 kW Hall thruster are most sensitive to low voltage and current conditions, with increasing magnetic field strength leading to higher erosion rates, particularly near the inner radius. Additionally, the energy distributions of ions generated by the hollow cathode may also impact certain erosion trends.

Summary: This study proposes a low-cost Li foil surface-reconstruction strategy using a mechanochemistry reaction between fumed silica and Li to achieve dendrite-free Li metal anode. The reconstructed surface enhances the electrode dynamics and constructs an anionphilic interface, leading to significantly improved low-temperature and cycling performance of Li metal batteries while maintaining high energy density and stable cycle performance.

Summary: A facile synthesis route for heterostructured metal oxides via quenching-induced structural transformation was developed. Multiple quenching triggered the transformation from NiMoO4 to NiFe2O4, creating a novel heterostructure, and the pre-quenching generated disordered defect structure can promote subsequent quenching regulation.

Summary: The lack of understanding of ion transport in the cathode of PVDF-based solid-state lithium metal batteries limits their performance. The use of carbon-coated Li1.4Al0.4Ti1.6(PO4)3 nanowires as a cathode filler improves the diffusion of ions in the thick cathode, leading to enhanced battery performance and stability.
