Summary: Limited accessibility to hydrogeological data has led scholars to enhance the robustness of qualitative groundwater vulnerability assessment methods using mathematical techniques. In this study, three GIS-based indices were utilized to assess groundwater vulnerability levels, with the hybrid SWARA-PSOGA framework proving to be the most effective in evaluating the vulnerability of the study area. The optimization of the DRASTIC weighting system through PSO-GA algorithm and the application of SWARA as a MADM method contributed to noticeable improvements in correlation between vulnerability indices and observed nitrate concentration data.

Summary: This article proposes an efficient IM-based MIMO-OFDM system for V2V channels and evaluates its performance in high Doppler-spread channels. The results show that the proposed scheme reduces computational complexity in data detection and achieves up to 3 dB gains in BER performance compared to the conventional MIMO-OFDM system, along with superior spectral efficiency. This demonstrates the feasibility of implementing the proposed system for high-transmission-rate V2V channels.

Summary: Based on the research of the Atkinson cycle engine (ACE), this paper explores the effects of different injection strategies and EGR on the combustion, thermodynamics, and emission performance. A neural network (NN) model for ACE is built, and the results show a strong nonlinear relationship between the injection strategy and EGR with BSFC, CO2, CO, NOx, and PN. The NN model based on the PSO-Nadam algorithm outperforms the rules-of-thumb-based model in terms of prediction performance and generalization ability.
