Summary: In this study, cobalt-substituted strontium hexaferrite nanoparticles were synthesized using the sol-gel route, and their magnetic, electrical, and structural properties were investigated. The results showed that cobalt doping increased the saturation magnetization and decreased the coercivity, while exhibiting semiconductor behavior. Additionally, the dielectric constant decreased with increasing cobalt content.

Summary: Nanocrystalline metal ferrites (CoFe2O4, M = Co, Ni, Cu, Mg, and Zn) were successfully synthesized using egg white via autocombustion synthesis. Characterization through XRD, FTIR, and TEM showed different structural properties and magnetic behaviors influenced by the metal ions, with semiconducting characteristics observed. The obtained low dielectric constant values suggest potential high-frequency applications for the synthesized ferrites.

Summary: The YCr0.5Fe0.5O3 ceramics with different sintering temperatures exhibit changes in structural, magnetic, and dielectric properties as the grain size decreases with lower sintering temperatures. The competition between single ion magnetic anisotropy and antisymmetric Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction leads to size-dependent total magnetization behavior at the compensation temperature. Adjusting the magnetic field affects the compensation temperature, resulting in a positive exchange bias effect.

Summary: A series of La3+ ion doped magnesium nickel ferrites were prepared and characterized for their structural and magnetic properties. The doping of La3+ ions resulted in a decrease in crystallite size, an increase in lattice parameter, and changes in magnetic properties. Additionally, the frequency and temperature variations affected the dielectric properties of the material.

Summary: The formulation of polymer with embedded magnetic nanoparticles leads to the development of promising nanocomposites for smart and analytical applications. Nanocomposites of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and strontium hexaferrite (SFO) were prepared and characterized using various techniques. The addition of SFO nanoparticles significantly enhanced the permittivity, conductivity, and optical properties of the PAN matrix. The magnetic properties of the nanocomposites were investigated, and the results showed a ferromagnetic nature dependent on the PAN content.

Summary: Copper-substituted spinel ferrites with nominal composition Ca0.5Ba0.5-xCuxFe2O4 (x = 0.00, 0.125, 0.250, 0.350, 0.500) were successfully prepared by the sol-gel auto combustion route. The structural and electrical behavior of Ca0.5Ba0.5-xCuxFe2O4 nanoparticles were examined through X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and dielectric measurements. The addition of Cu2+ cation improved the lattice parameter, dielectric characteristics, and magnetic parameters.

Summary: SrInxFe12-xO4/Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 (0.00 <= x <= 0.04) nanocomposites (SIFO/NZFO NCs) were synthesized using a one-pot sol-gel auto-combustion technique. The impact of indium doping on the magnetic properties of the nano-composites was investigated, and it was found that the saturation magnetization, remanence magnetization, and coercive field showed a non-monotonic dependence on the indium content.

Summary: This study investigates the effect of Mn2+ substitution for Co2+ in CoFe2O4 embedded in a SiO2 matrix on the structural, surface, morphological, and magnetic properties. With an increase in Mn content, particle size increases and magnetic properties change accordingly. The mesoporous structure facilitates the release of fine nanoparticles in aqueous environment.

Summary: Nanocrystallites of Sr0.95Nd0.05Fe12-xScxO19 (0 <= x <= 1.56) were synthesized by citric sol-gel method, showing continuous increase in lattice parameters with increasing x and a decrease in particle size. Magnetic properties were significantly affected by doping, especially in samples with x >= 0.60. The appearance of conical magnetic order was reflected in temperature dependences of extrinsic magnetic properties, with T-cone shifting downwards with increasing field.
