Therefore, the Chinese government needs to strengthen the control of market management policies and enhance the execution and supervision of planning management in provinces with limited resources.

Summary: This study aims to review and explore interventions to enhance individual and institutional capacity in evidence-informed policy-making in the Iranian health system. In global context, face-to-face training workshops for researchers were found to be the most commonly used intervention to strengthen researchers' capacity. In the local context, educational and training programs related to the health system, policy-making, and research cycle management were identified as the main interventions for capacity-building. The health system needs to strengthen its strategic capacity to promote a culture of education and training that motivates researchers to produce appropriate evidence for policy-makers.

Summary: This study developed a self-reported instrument to assess flares in osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee and hip, and evaluated its psychometric properties. Through a dual-language approach, questionnaire items were generated from interviews and a focus group, and relevant items were selected using a consensus method. The resulting questionnaire showed good validity and reliability, and can be used to assess the occurrence and severity of flares in patients with knee and hip OA.
