Summary: There is evidence linking exposure to toxic environmental agents with adverse reproductive and developmental health outcomes, including infertility, miscarriage, preterm birth, low birth weight, neurodevelopmental delay, and cancer. Obstetric care clinicians should be knowledgeable about local toxic environmental exposures and provide information to patients. Clinical encounters offer opportunities to screen and counsel patients on reducing toxic environmental exposures.

Summary: This opinion discusses the ethics of providing fertility treatment to women at elevated risk from fertility treatment or pregnancy. It states that it is ethically appropriate to treat these women as long as they are carefully assessed, consult specialists, and fully informed about the risks and alternatives. Providers have the right to decline treatment if they deem the risks to be too high. Patient counseling should consider the latest knowledge and the woman's personal determinants. This ensures an ethically sound decision-making process in a supportive context.

Summary: The idea of decoupling economic growth from environmental impacts through technology and green growth strategies has both supporters and opponents. This study presents the views of climate policy researchers from 73 countries on different growth models, including green growth, agrowth, and degrowth. Despite the promotion of green growth by policymakers and international institutions, there is increasing criticism of the compatibility of continued economic growth with sustainability goals. A global survey of 789 climate policy researchers reveals widespread skepticism in high-income countries, supporting the view that environmental goals take precedence over economic growth as national income rises. This finding highlights the importance of considering alternative post-growth perspectives, such as agrowth and degrowth strategies, to foster a more comprehensive discourse on sustainable development strategies.
