Summary: This article analyzes career transitions in creative industries involving geographical relocation from metropolitan cities to remote urbanities, based on in-depth interviews with freelancers who moved to Southern European locales. It explores how creative workers justify their transitions away from metropolises and reflect on the changing meaning of career success over their lifespans. By applying Nussbaum's capability approach, the study delves into how urban contexts impact creative workers' abilities to achieve well-being and professional identities while undergoing geographic transitions. The research suggests that a comprehensive evaluation of capabilities for leading a good life underlies creative workers' reinterpretation of career transitions in ways that challenge traditional measures of career upward mobility and growth.

Summary: This article argues for a novel understanding of compassion, termed as 'compassion towards thriving,' to inform public mental health ethics. The argument is developed through two main parts: firstly, developing an account of compassion towards thriving drawing upon Martha Nussbaum's work, and secondly, discussing the aims of public mental health and examining the normative synergies with existing approaches in public health ethics. The article also applies this compassion towards thriving approach to evaluate the 'Every Mind Matters' public mental health campaign in England and suggests ways to enhance its delivery.

Summary: While there has been significant growth in research on entrepreneurial ecosystems, our understanding of the relationship between entrepreneurial ecosystems and environmentally sustainable entrepreneurship is still limited. Through a systematic review of 77 articles, we identified four key themes: the sustainability of entrepreneurial ecosystems, the role of entrepreneurs and universities, and the outcomes of sustainable ecosystems. Our study highlights the importance of interactions between different actors in creating a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem. Future research should explore the effectiveness of entrepreneurial ecosystems in achieving sustainable development goals.

Summary: This article explores the sociological and psychological factors that influence students' sustainable entrepreneurial intention using the theory of planned behaviour. The results show that perceived behaviour control and personal attitude significantly influence the intention to start a sustainable entrepreneurship, while subjective norms do not have a significant impact on this intention. Education and family support contribute significantly to positive attitudes towards sustainable entrepreneurship, but education and social support do not affect perceived behaviour control.

Summary: The study found that healthcare staff caring for persons infected with the Coronavirus disease experienced a process from struggling to survive to gradually thriving, as well as seeking support in the new normal. They transitioned from initial psychological chaos to a phase characterized by resilience, but still faced heavy workloads and emotional exhaustion, putting them at risk of burnout and compassion fatigue. Fear was a persistent factor throughout their experiences, whether it was fear of contracting the disease or infecting loved ones, which remained a key concern among healthcare staff.

Summary: Sepsis is a severe and potentially fatal condition caused by multiple factors, which can lead to a high risk of death. Sepsis-associated encephalopathy is a condition where the intense inflammatory response has detrimental effects on the brain. The activation of the P2X7 receptor, which is abundantly expressed in the brain, plays a role in chronic neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory diseases, but its function in long-term neurological impairment caused by sepsis is still unclear.

Summary: This study aims to examine the impact of social networking, family support, social dominance orientation, and access to finance on the entrepreneurial intention of Omani women, as well as the mediating role of entrepreneurial persistence and passion. The findings show that social networking significantly affects entrepreneurial intention and persistence. However, access to finance and family support have an insignificant effect on entrepreneurial persistence, passion, and intention. These findings highlight the importance of mediating variables in understanding the relationship between growth constraints and entrepreneurial intention. The study provides valuable insights and recommended strategies for policymakers in promoting the socio-economic development of Omani women.

Summary: Research shows that the presence of four conditional aspects in sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems fosters sustainability, including the sustainability orientation of actors, recognition of sustainable opportunities and resource mobilization, collaborative innovation, and market promotion. In a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem, entrepreneurial experimentation is seen as a highly interdependent and interactive process, with the recognition of sustainable opportunities distributed among different actors contributing to the overall sustainability.
