Summary: Physical activity is an indispensable factor in measuring a healthy lifestyle, and increasing the level of physical activity can contribute to social sustainability. Social marketing, using commercial marketing tools to deliver social goods, can be effective in promoting behavior change. This study applies a modified theory of planned behavior model, incorporating self-identity and motivation variables, to the student population of a university in Serbia. The results show that behavioral and normative beliefs, as well as self-identity and motivation, directly or indirectly influence students' intention to engage in regular physical activity. The findings also reveal gender differences, with normative beliefs and motivation significantly affecting intention only in female students. The authors provide implications for social marketing activities to encourage students to be more physically active.

Summary: Understanding consumers' behaviors is crucial for promoting sustainable dietary habits. Social-psychological models can effectively identify cognitive constructs behind consumers' behavior, with attitude being a key predictor of intention and intention being a key predictor of behavior. However, there are limitations in these models when more objective tools are used to assess food consumption.
