A new efficient procedure for preparation of 1,2,3-triazole derivatives by 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of benzyl halides, sodium azide, and propargyl alcohol over Cu-Co/ZSM-5 bimetallic nanocatalyst in aqueous media under conventional heating and ultrasonic irradiation was developed. The maximum activity of the catalyst was reported under ultrasonic irradiation with a noticeable reduction in the reaction time. The generated products were utilized as substrates for the synthesis of a series of new 1,2,3-triazole derivatives containing organosilylvinyl substituent and bulky organosilicon groups using (RSiMe2)(3)CLi (R = Me, Ph).
