Summary: The study elucidated the role of AMH in regulating ovarian follicle development in laying hens by measuring expression of relevant genes and treating hens with AMH. Results showed changes in gene expressions post-follicular selection and significant effects on ovarian morphology and hormone levels after AMH injection.

Summary: Vascular endothelial growth factor secreted by placenta-derived mesenchymal stem cells (PD-MSCs) promotes follicular development and ovarian function after ovariectomy through vascular remodeling. These results provide fundamental data for understanding the therapeutic mechanisms of stem cell therapy based on placenta-derived mesenchymal stem cells PD-MSCs and provide a theoretical foundation for their application for obstetrical and gynecological diseases, including infertility and menopause.

Summary: This study elucidates the molecular mechanism of how anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) binds to its receptor AMHR2, highlighting key interaction points that contribute to specificity and providing insights for the design of agonists, antagonists, or antibody therapies.

Summary: This study demonstrates that melatonin (Mel) can serve as an adjuvant to protect young female cancer patients from premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) induced by Cyclophosphaty-45mide (Cyc) chemotherapy. Melatonin treatment maintains ovarian hormone levels and inhibits the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway to prevent follicle loss. This has important implications for preserving fertility in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Summary: Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) plays a significant role in regulating folliculogenesis and serves as a reliable marker for ovarian reserve. It is also involved in the pathogenesis of conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and primary ovarian failure.

Summary: This study investigated two cases of granulosa cell tumors (GCTs) to find a biomarker for evaluating treatment and predicting recurrence. The findings suggest that serum vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) levels can be used as a clinical biomarker for disease progression in GCTs and to determine the efficacy of bevacizumab therapy.

Summary: The study showed that upregulation of ANGPTL4 in ovarian cancer cells led to increased tumor angiogenesis, growth, and metastasis inhibition. Inactivation of VEGFR2 Y949 phosphorylation eliminated the tumor-suppressive effects of ANGPTL4 inhibition in spontaneous ovarian carcinoma.

Summary: The study examined the association between large ovarian endometriomas and high pre-operative AMH concentrations in 332 women with endometriosis. Results showed that women with cysts measuring over 6 cm had significantly increased AMH concentrations, regardless of age or presence of bilateral endometriomas. Surgeons and patients should take into consideration the impact of large endometriomas on AMH levels when planning surgery and post-operative conception.

Summary: The study found that human oocytes express the AMHR2 receptor, allowing AMH to directly act on oocytes. The addition of recombinant AMH in the maturation medium improved GV oocyte maturation in vitro, indicating the potential clinical application of recombinant AMH for improving IVM of human oocytes.

Summary: A rare subtype of adult cystic granulosa cell tumor (AGCT) with elevated anti-Mullerian hormone and hyperandrogenism was reported in this case study. The patient, diagnosed with AGCT, underwent controlled ovarian stimulation and embryo cryopreservation before surgery, resulting in the successful birth of a healthy female infant. Patients with AGCT who have fertility goals should consider active assisted reproduction measures to preserve fertility before treatment.

Summary: It was found that there is a significant correlation between age and mtDNA copy number, as well as age and AMH level. There is a positive correlation between mtDNA copy number and AMH level, with AMH decreasing as mtDNA decreases. Age and AMH have different effects on mtDNA copy number, and AMH level independently affects mtDNA copy number.

Summary: PCOS is the most common endocrinopathy of reproductive years, with diagnosis depending on specific criteria and misdiagnoses being common. Despite years of research, the exact etiology of PCOS remains largely unknown. In the past decade, AMH and VEGF have been examined as potential players in the causative relevance of PCOS, in addition to insulin resistance and hyperandrogenemia.

Summary: This study investigated the effects of VEGF on the viability, apoptosis, and steroidogenesis of yak granulosa cells. The results showed that VEGF can promote cell viability, decrease apoptosis, and increase hormone synthesis in granulosa cells. These findings highlight the beneficial influence exerted by VEGF in improving granulosa cell viability and reducing apoptosis.
