Summary: Careful observation of the QT interval is crucial for monitoring patients with long QT syndrome and during treatment with medication that may prolong the QT interval. Smartwatches and smart devices offer new possibilities for measuring and monitoring the QT interval. Most studies have been conducted on patients, with limited results from healthy volunteers.

Summary: This study introduces a Poincare plot-based method for atrial fibrillation (AF) detection, which effectively extracts features and classifies AF episodes in a short period of time with high sensitivity and specificity. The method shows promise for wide application in the detection and monitoring of AF.

Summary: This study explores the feasibility of using non-standard electrode placement configurations (EPC) on the thoracic area and single arm for ECG signal acquisition. The results show that non-standard EPCs can be used for signal acquisition and the proposed algorithm successfully distinguishes R waves from large T waves.

Summary: This study examined the validity of the wrist-based photoplethysmography (PPG) method to measure heart rate (HR) and heart rate variability (HRV) at rest. The results showed that PPG was able to measure HR and HRV with adequate accuracy in recreational athletes. However, systematic overestimation should be acknowledged in certain cases.

Summary: This article demonstrates the application of hypersoft set in solving decision-making problems with multiple attributes and introduces similarity measures for multipolar interval-valued neutrosophic hypersoft sets (mPIVNHSs). It discusses the practical value of similarity measurements and the use of the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm in ranking site selection for a new store.

Summary: Heart rate is an important vital sign that reflects the dynamic changes of cardiac signals. This paper proposes a wavelet transform based method to remove noise and calculate physiological heart rate. Two methods, based on timing intervals and local frequency analysis, are used to analyze ECG signals and identify heart rate. The efficiency of the proposed work is validated using the MIT BIH arrhythmia database.

Summary: The 3D Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) are utilized to analyze and characterize Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. The research includes three stages: ECG signal preprocessing, feature extraction, and ECG signal classification. The SVM classifier achieves an average accuracy of 99.02% using the ECG signals from the CPSC 2018 arrhythmia dataset, outperforming other complex support vector machine (CSVM) and weighted support vector machine (WSVM) classifiers.

Summary: The R-peaks in the electrocardiogram (ECG) signal are crucial for diagnosing heart disorders. This research proposes a novel pattern-adapted wavelet that improves the efficiency of R-peak detection by reducing false positives and detection errors. Experimental results demonstrate that this method outperforms existing methods like Symlet4.
