Summary: Blades, as crucial components of wind turbines, have significant impact on both capital and operational costs. However, the failure modes and processes of the composite materials used in the blades are not well understood. Therefore, conducting a systematic study to analyze the failure modes and their criticalities is essential for reducing operational and maintenance costs. The results of this study can provide insights into maintenance strategies and risk mitigation techniques, contributing to the development of dynamic decision support systems.

Summary: This study conducted a failure analysis of a steam generator to investigate the process leading to rupture and corrosion, using FMEA and FTA techniques. It was found that metallographic tests showed small cracks in the base metal, lack of penetration in the welded joint, and misalignment of the joint. Water analysis revealed high chloride ion concentration and low pH in the feedwater, leading to rupture of the passive layer and corrosion.

Summary: This paper proposes a risk evaluation methodology for controlling multi-uncertainties in the assessment process. By using the fuzzy confidence interval number (FCIN) evaluation model and generalized trapezoidal fuzzy numbers (GTrFNs), the uncertainty of the evaluation results can be reduced and the risk discrimination can be improved.

Summary: SERENITY is an open-source quantum chemistry software that focuses on quantum-mechanical multilevel and embedding approaches. This study provides an overview of the developments in SERENITY since its original publication in 2018, including efficient electronic-structure methods for ground and excited states. SERENITY's modular structure allows for combination with density-functional theory-based embedding through various practical realizations and variants of subsystem DFT.

Summary: The purpose of this article is to analyze the risks involved in the financial execution process of IT partnership expenses in the Ministry of Economy. The study adopted a qualitative approach and collected data through interviews with IT experts. The research consisted of understanding the context, identifying risks using FMEA and Pareto chart, determining the causes of risks using FTA, and proposing improvements. The findings showed that 53% of payment delays were caused by internal factors, such as invoice errors and inspector performance, while the remaining 47% were due to financial constraints.

Summary: The paper proposes a novel FMEA model based on the TODIM method to fill the research gap in submarine pipeline risk analysis and address potential problems in the classical TODIM approach. The proposed method improves the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy rough number theory, combines ExpTODIM with the PROMETHEE-II method, and incorporates weight calculation methods to determine failure mode rankings. It also combines the improved interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy rough number theory with the analytical hierarchical process to calculate risk values. The method is applied to submarine pipeline risk analysis and shows reliability and advantages over other current FMEA methods based on MCDM.

Summary: The purpose of this study was to determine whether the addition of external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) to brachytherapy (BT) (COMBO) would improve 5-year freedom from progression (FFP) in intermediate-risk prostate cancer. The results showed that COMBO did not improve FFP compared to BT and caused greater toxicity. Therefore, BT can be considered as a standard treatment for men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer.
