Summary: The objective of this clinical study was to investigate the translucency parameter (TP) and CIELab values of vital anterior incisor enamel at a theoretical infinite thickness in a diverse pool of participants. The results showed significant differences in in vivo L* values and TP values among groups determined by ethnicity, age, and sex.

Summary: This study investigated the effect of vertical facial patterns on the developmental relationship between the nasal bone and maxillary central incisors. It was found that the inclination angle and length of the nasal bone and maxillary central incisor were positively correlated regardless of vertical facial type. Additionally, hypodivergent patients were more likely to have a larger inclination angle of the nasal bone and shorter maxillary central incisors compared to hyperdivergent and normodivergent groups.

Summary: This study measured the enamel thickness of maxillary incisors in an Iraqi subpopulation using CBCT and investigated the relationship with chronological age and sex. The results showed an inverse association between enamel thickness and age at certain measurements, as well as significant differences in enamel thickness between males and females.

Summary: This study investigated the crown and root characteristics of impacted central incisors compared with spontaneously erupted contralateral incisors. The results showed significant differences in root length and crown-root angulation between the two groups. Etiologic factors did not influence the dimensions of the incisors. The impacted incisors had shorter roots and greater angulation in the mesiodistal and labiolingual directions. Girls had shorter root lengths in both impacted and contralateral incisors.

Summary: The study found that Korean females who had completed orthodontic treatment were more likely to have their maxillary central incisors positioned between the forehead facial axis and glabella compared to those seeking treatment. Digital twins were shown to be a significant tool for three-dimensional analysis of facial features with high clinical significance.

Summary: This systematic review aimed to evaluate the morphology of impacted maxillary central incisors and compare them with contralateral teeth. The results showed no difference in crown length between impacted teeth and contralateral teeth, but impacted teeth had considerably shorter root lengths and a higher incidence of root dilaceration as dental age increased.

Summary: This study investigated the CBCT findings of the apical anatomy of immature maxillary central incisors. The results showed that immature maxillary central incisors in Nolla 8 have a larger apical shadow and apical foramen than those in Nolla 9. The lamina dura in the apical region of Nolla 8 was more likely to be broad and blurred, while with the development of the apical foramen, it tended to become clear and sharp. This study provides a more detailed understanding of the apical anatomy of immature maxillary central incisors and its clinical significance for the diagnosis and treatment of apical lesions.

Summary: The treatment for intrusive dislocation of permanent central incisors involves extrusion and stabilization of the affected teeth using orthodontic appliances. Quick diagnosis and initiation of treatment after trauma, along with appropriate mechanics, are crucial for successful outcomes in such cases.

Summary: This in vivo study aimed to investigate the clinical threshold and factors associated with the translucency of maxillary central incisors. Results showed that age and gender had significant effects on the translucency, and the difference in TP between the two central incisors could be used as a reference for translucency threshold.

Summary: This study found a higher frequency of hypomineralized second primary molars (HSPM) in children with molar incisor hypomineralization (MIH). However, there was no correlation between the severity of MIH and the presence of HSPM. HSPM may serve as a predictor of MIH.

Summary: Regenerative endodontic procedures using PRF showed significant increase in root length, thickness of dentinal walls, and decrease in apical diameter in non-vital immature permanent teeth. The primary and secondary goals of the treatment were achieved according to AAE guidelines.

Summary: Surgical treatment of impacted incisors with dilacerated roots, using in situ rotation, resulted in spontaneous eruption and further alignment of the treated teeth with fixed orthodontic appliances. Follow-up visits indicated stable tooth positions with good prognosis, suggesting that in situ rotation surgery is an effective and time-saving treatment approach.

Summary: This study conducted a three-dimensional finite element analysis of permanent maxillary central incisors at different stages of root development under different trauma settings. The results showed that buccal forces led to higher stress concentration, and the stress on the periodontal ligament decreased with root formation progression.
