Summary: This article investigates the properties of Ag nanoparticle-incorporated electrochromic WO3 thin films. The films with higher Ag concentration showed merged particles and a single or polycrystalline phase, while films with lower Ag concentration had a random distribution of small nanoparticles. Surface plasmon resonance peaks in the absorption spectra confirmed the formation of metallic nanoparticles. The W0.91Ag0.09O3-delta thin film exhibited faster switching time, higher coloration efficiency, and black coloration, indicating the achievement of color neutrality through Ag nanoparticle incorporation.

Summary: In this study, a quaternary ammonium-functionalized MIL-125 (Me3N+-MIL-125) decorated polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) ultrafiltration membrane was fabricated. Summary: In this study, a PVDF membrane was modified with MoS2/WO3 nanocomposite and cross-linked PVA, achieving the integration of photocatalytic degradation and hydrophilic properties. The modified membrane showed high photocatalytic efficiency and excellent self-cleaning ability under visible-light illumination, achieving efficient removal of COD, TDS, and ammonia nitrogen. The membrane also demonstrated good reusability and high flux recovery ratio. This study highlights the synergistic use of photocatalytic and hydrophilic materials for the treatment of pollutant-burdened wastewater.

Characterization techniques confirmed the successful application of TiO2, Ag, and SiQAC on the fabric surface. The newly developed TiO2 + SiQAC + Ag nanocomposite exhibited excellent performance, maintaining its antibacterial, UV protection, and self-cleaning properties even after repeated washings.

Summary: A novel multifunctional composite membrane with photocatalytic, antifouling and self-cleaning properties was prepared through surface immobilization of nitrogen doped carbon quantum dots modified TiO2 photocatalysts using polyacrylic acid as a bridging agent. The membrane showed high resistance to fouling and was able to efficiently retain dye pollutants, while also demonstrating robust photocatalytic activity.

Summary: Melanoma has the highest mortality rate among skin cancers. Chitosan-based nanofibers have unique properties that make them a promising candidate for an effective topical drug delivery system. By optimizing the assay using various methods such as AFM and SEM, the nanofiber system showed significant colchicine deposition in the skin with remarkable cytotoxicity against melanoma cell line, making it a desirable formulation for neoadjuvant chemotherapy and adjuvant therapy of tumors.
