Summary: Shifting from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0, the digital transformation has sparked debates on the influence of human skills in contrast to technologies. This study examines how creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit in the knowledge-intensive business service industry relate to the digital transformation. Using the social cognitive theory, the research analyzes 370 KIBS companies across different sectors in Europe and finds that individual creativity and innovation act as motivators and catalysts for digital transformation. A new concept, digital humanism, emerges emphasizing the importance of human skills. The study suggests that governments and policymakers should encourage creative working activities and leverage technologies to foster innovations.

Summary: This paper empirically tests the impact and mechanism of digital transformation of tourism enterprises on tax avoidance based on the data of China's A-share listed tourism companies from 2019 to 2022. The results show that the digital transformation of tourism enterprises will significantly inhibit the tax avoidance of enterprises, and the digital transformation of enterprises inhibits tax evasion by improving the level of internal control. This study expands the research in the fields of corporate digital transformation and corporate tax avoidance, and provides relevant enlightenment for promoting the deep integration of digital economy and real economy.

Summary: This paper explores the transformation and execution of IT-enabled remote work initiatives by firms during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on archival data from 100 firms in Spain, three types of strategies were identified: leader, agile, and survival. Leader companies had a competitive advantage over agile firms, which in turn had a competitive advantage over survival organizations. Firm size played a crucial role in the execution of remote work initiatives as a leader or survival. The industry significantly influenced the implementation of remote work initiatives during three pivotal periods in the telecommunications industry.

Summary: This research aims to propose a framework for the digital transformation maturity of electronic sports businesses in developing countries. Semi-structured interviews and thematic analysis were conducted with stakeholders of electronic sports businesses in Iran, leading to the identification of three main perspectives: enablers, digital resilience and capabilities, and digital transformation maturity stages. Enablers consist of governance and leadership, strategy, culture and skills, innovation, technology, and data. Digital resilience and capabilities include business model and ecosystem, digital customer experience, digital employee experience, and digital processes. The digital transformation maturity stages are categorized as digital beginners, digital followers, digital conservatives, and digital leaders.
