MBS (0.1-2.0 wt%) composed of MgO-B2O3-SiO2 were added into the Li3Mg2NbO6 ceramics to achieve low temperature sintering. The effects of MBS on the sintering temperature, phase compositions, microstructure and microwave dielectric properties of Li3Mg2NbO6 ceramics were investigated systematically. The XRD results indicated that the sintered sample presented a single-phase without extra secondary phase. The microwave dielectric properties of Li3Mg2NbO6 ceramics were mainly dependent on the MBS additives. In the case of 0.5 wt% MBS additives, Li3Mg2NbO6 ceramics exhibited satisfying microwave dielectric properties with epsilon(r) = 14.5, Q x f = 80,759 GHz, tau(f) = -20.7 ppm/degrees C sintered at 925 degrees C for 4 h.
